Why coaching?
Well…to be honest, maybe you’re the type that doesn’t need therapy.
Or perhaps you’ve reached your therapeutic goals and now want to take things to a whole new level of awesomeness.

Then COACHING may be exactly what you’re looking for.
After working in the more traditional systems as a licensed therapist, I became even more passionate about providing an alternative.
A place where rebels and visionaries could shed the confines of society’s boxes and go as deep and off the grid as desired!

My overall approach is based on the concept of mindfulness and acceptance, focusing on your future rather than your past.
Through conversations, homework assignments and mindfulness exercises you'll begin to invest your energy into acting on what you value and in doing the things that make your life rich and meaningful. My approach is based on the principles of ACT and mindfulness. ACT is one of the so-called 'third generation' of behavioral approaches being researched and practiced all over the world today. ACT specifically focuses on learning to live life more in the present, turning your attention towards important values and goals, and away from unhelpful thoughts, feelings and experiences. It is not about overcoming pain or fighting emotions; it's about embracing life and feeling everything it has to offer. ACT offers a way forward by choosing to live a life based on what matters most.
How we work together
Your sessions are at least one hour long, either in person or over the phone.
During our coaching sessions I may give you handouts containing relevant information, which I will encourage you to read. I may also recommend books or other resources for you to read.
Through mutual agreement you may be given tasks or homework to do in between sessions.
A follow-up report via email is included which will give you a summary of what we covered in the session and the details of any plan of action that we have designed.
We start with weekly meetings, and as you progress, you may like to change to fortnightly. The time commitment can be changed to suit your individual needs. It’s important to remember that change takes time and is a gradual process.
A minimum of 4 sessions are recommended and 10 sessions are recommended for maximum benefit.

I provide single sessions in addition to packages of sessions. I accept cash, checks and credit cards. I will discuss my fees with you when you contact me. Coaching services are not covered by insurance.
